Around 70 representatives from 35 partner organisations gathered in Rome for the official project launch. The three-day event established project milestones, defined collaboration frameworks, and aligned all stakeholders on the ambitious goals ahead.
A first get-to-know-each-other among partners and an online call with the responsible Project Officer from the European Commission were followed by overview presentations of all eight work packages by the respective WP leaders.
The second day started with four plenary sessions about “Traffic, Mobility & Cycling Solutions”, “Design & Eco-Design”, “Clean Energy” and “RTMs (Recycled Tyre Materials)”. Afterwards, participants split up into four different working groups to discuss these topics in more detail. The outcomes of the working groups were summarised and presented to the entire consortium after a light networking lunch.
The kick-off meeting was a great way to officially launch the collaboration among so many different partners, which is why it was decided to hold an annual meeting involving the entire consortium. Until January 2026!
