From November 11 to November 13, 2025, SMILE CITY partners SOLUM and LITTLE ENERGY hosted other consortium members in Seville and Vigo, Spain.
The visit started with a trip to the SOLUM factory in Seville, where the organisation presented their work regarding the assembly of PV panels as well as the construction of charging stations for electric scooters. The rest of Day 1 was spent with technical discussions on tasks from WP2, Design and Planning of Mobility Solutions to be Adopted, and WP3, Circular Systemic Solutions.
Day 2 began with more informal discussions and reflections on the day before and in the afternoon, participants visited the LITTLE ENERGY factory near Vigo to learn more about the recycling of batteries. On the last day of this three-day meeting, there were more technical presentations about issues concerning WP3, such as polymeric materials, PV panels, and clean energy overall. Task 5.2, Environmental Assessment, was also on the agenda and prepared participants for a second visit to the LITTLE ENERGY factory in the afternoon, where SMILE CITY partner ITEC provided some insights and clarifications regarding Life Cycle Assessments.
